About the garden
A volunteer-run patch of Bundjalung country where locals grow food, share skills and eat together.
Mullumbimby Community Garden is a volunteer-run patch of Bundjalung country where locals grow food, share skills and eat together. We began as a handful of beds behind the showground and now run market gardens, allotments, a food-forest and a weekly community lunch.
We acknowledge the Arakwal and Widjabul people of the Bundjalung Nation as the traditional custodians of the land the garden grows on, and pay respect to Elders past and present.
Everything here is powered by people who show up. No experience needed — turn up to a working bee, grab a hand tool, and someone will show you what's what.
